As the waves wash over you incessantly
You stand there white washed waiting
For the torment to cease you wait patiently
There is no end your fear by now fleeting
Finally the tirade disintegrated
Like a newborn with raw skin you stand nude
Afresh, rejuvenated and invigorated
The mind reckons the exciting prelude
Grain by grain the mount builds again
Success as it is often said comes at a price
The dropped tears and the intrusive pain
Life is at times just a wild throw of the dice
Worth pondering about it is not
Genius it is to just face it and live on
Otherwise, the road will lead to the mind’s rot
Oh face it, let’s just live on
