:: The Truth ::

The Lost Wanderer

Moulded us into shape in a flash
And breathed into us life
All of blood and flesh
Unveiled upon the earth, so rife

Wandering the lands full of self
Forgetting the cause of our very existence
Deep into our own grave we often delve
It sure ends not there, despite our persistence

Like the lost wanderer drifting along aimlessly
Vision clouded with self and marred beyond repair
Time does end on us so ever so abruptly
That time would come often too late to care

From Him we did come into life
In His presence we did bow in wonder
But soon we forget Him who gave us life
Back to the story of the lost wanderer
