Soulmate
He saw her over the gulf of eternity
Sitting under the great oak
Her body swathed in white chiffon and lace
Knees up, cradled over with tears to soak
Her trenching sobs wincing every bit of his soul
It sure does take minutes for the story to unfold
The union breaks all barriers and impediments
The heart, an orchestra of discordant sentiments
The gentle light from his eyes
And the water from his tears
Nourished her essence from within
Bringing life into her where belief was thin
Life brings with itself a multitude of plans
Sometimes too knotty to handle with our own hands
Take a step back and look on with thought
Rejoice at the pleasures that your life has brought

One Love
There can only be one love
For it is only You that remain my trove
I see You only through You
Without Your Love this cannot be true
Hinges on Yours verily my existence
Who else can I rely on for my subsistence
Am but a mere mirror I am wary
A reflection of Thyself upon me I carry
No colour, no shape, no form
To Your own buds You do not conform
Therein lies the beauty of Your mystery
Slowly unfolding in my life like a beautiful story
Like a sick child coveting her mother’s love
Aching for your vision my entities rove
Waiting for the Day of Realization
When there can only be one True Love
