Oh such sweet pain and passion
Leaves me wasted and weary
I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy
My heart wilts in confession
Servility portrayed by a callow yearning
A fire burgeoning not to light but to bite
From within the remains are lingering
Lingering to be touched when the time is right
Love is painful always learnt the hard way
Emotions raw and fulminant
For all the peace but a small price to pay
For you relish in an almost divine covenant
You leave me breathless when I'm with you..
All the times that you wish away my pain..
Now I'm missing you..

A New Beginning
A journey that began an infinitude ago
So you dream of an open door when you turn back the clocks
Oh you were so wrong about the things to follow
Indeed what you have is now a pandora's box
Each time you enter a door you feel a beckoning breeze
Inviting you to an ideal world, a baptism of conciliation
You leapt in with calm and relative ease
Through another door you leave with apprehension
One opens leading into another
Soon you figure there's a constellation
Be it a liberty or be it a bother
All you are left with is alot of contemplation
The heart is a knife that the mind sharpens
Beneath all the dust lies a truth so glistening
That everytime a door opens
It is nothing but a new beginning

Gift Of An Angel
I got the gift of a lifetime
An answered prayer of mine
Worth more than a penny or dime
I got an angel as a sister so divine
Never had I thought or dreamt
That you could bring me so much sanctity
You were the gift that was a preempt
Great is God's altruism and bounty
Two years of sibship and more to ensue
Trials we will face I am sure
With the love we will pursue
For the bond that I treasure
Keep me close and keep me near
One step behind you that's where I'll be
Catch your dreams and leave your fear
Spread your wings my angel and the world's for thee
