:: Fluctuating Consciousness ::

Delirium

Yesterday was as clear as fresh water
Memories as crisp as a cloudless Mediterranean night
The mind in ignorance of what is to come later
Of what seems to others as sheer fright

In a flash of utter serendipity
The intricate clockwork goes astray
An embodiment without tangibility
Is what remains of me today

Faces as masks on display
Emotionless with words just to soothe
Sincerity as fragile as clay
Everything stands far from the truth

Eyes shut and the mind racing
The heart expressing without any medium
With life and death embracing
Is this what they call delirum?
